Meet Rua
Every guide was once someone standing at their own threshold.
For years, I tried to out pace my pain through achievement, recognition, and becoming someone worthy in the eyes of others. What I eventually discovered was that the life I was building didn't need me to become someone else—it was asking me to remember who I already was.
Today, I help others navigate their own personal moments of profound transformation into Self-Authorship using my BASS framework of Breathwork, Awe, Storytelling, and Service.
MY STORY:
I spent much of my life believing that fulfillment lived somewhere outside of me.
As a professionally trained and working actor, storytelling became both my craft and my identity. I chased fame, recognition, and the feeling that if I could become enough in the eyes of the world, I might finally feel worthy within myself.
For a time, that pursuit proved fruitful. I found myself on tv shows and film sets doing kool projects with actors I'd grown up pretending to be like in my childhood bedroom. My life dreams had literally come true.
But all which goes up, must come down.
Life can have an unforgiving way of dismantling the stories we build around ourselves. For me, that unraveling came through profound loss: heartbreak, waning interest in my work, multiple NDE's, spiritual questioning, and being witness to my father's suffering as he died. The role I had spent years constructing no longer fit.
What felt like everything falling apart became the beginning of something far more honest.
I had no way of knowing it at the time, but I had arrived at a threshold.
"The stories that shape us are rarely the ones we choose. The freedom begins when we become conscious enough to write the next chapter ourselves."
The breath that changed everything.
After years of running from the ruins of my former life, someone introduced me to breathwork while I was in a deeply fragile state of mind.
And to be honest, I didn't love it.
It challenged me. It stripped away distractions. It showed me truths I wasn't ready to face.
But it also showed me something else.
That beneath every identity, every expectation, and every story I'd inherited was a quieter voice that had been waiting patiently all along.
The breath became more than a practice.
It became a way of listening.
Today, that same practice has taken me around the world, introduced me to extraordinary people, and continues to remind me that transformation isn't something we force.
It's something we allow.
BREATHE
The breath reconnects you to the intelligence already living within your body.
My Philosophy
REMEMBER
Transformation isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about remembering who you are beneath conditioning, expectation, and fear.
